Good method for all to use, cd/dvd driver disappearing?

As many know, CD/DVD drive disappearing in Vista (both 32 and 64) is common if you use iTunes. It's all about that GEARAspiWDM filter in the registry. (.dll)

Instead of going through the usual methods to restore your CD/DVD drive to "My Computer," which are deleting the upper & lower keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
Key Name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

...TRY THIS INSTEAD!

Benefits:
1.) No reboot required
2.) No matter how many times it happens, if you save the SETUP file, you can re-run it and "modify" the driver and it ALWAYS works as an instant-fix.
3.) Small file size, easy to save in a folder for easy & quick repair.

Here goes:

Driver updates - GEAR Software

Simply save the driver for future use in case you lose your CD/DVD drive again.

I hope this benefits you all as it's benefitted me.
