Vista - Vista X64 Driver for PVR

XP Pro Media Center Addition came with a personal-video-recorder hardware interface which connected to the TV or cable box. It was possible to watch TV either in a window or full screen.
Now that i have upgraded to Vista Ultimate X64, the OS doesn't recognize the hardware.
Is there a driver upgrade for that PVR? Thanks

I have had a look at the homepage for media centre and there are different types of PVR made by different manaufacturers.

What is the make and model of your PVR.

The only information i have found on the web is that because i am using Vista 64, the old drivers won't work. I haven't been able to find a new one. Adaptec is no longer making that model and there are not drivers.

Have you tried the XP64 drivers?

Try these, manually install.

All I can suggest is to try different drivers for USB PVR and manually install them.

is a 32-bit driver. it won't install on my 64-bit system. I'll try others later and post.

I am getting Windows 7 Ultimate. Maybe the older drivers will work on it. We'll see.

Keep us updated, it is old hardware which is the main problem with new os`s.
