| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Missing Windows Installer-How does it go missing? I was down loading new driver's for my HP computer and it was going along doing it's thing and then I get this message. I went into msconfig and services where the Installers are but could not see a Windows Installer. Yikes. Help please & thankyou ebrena |

Hi zigzag I was installing driver updates and one of the updates was for HP all in one printer for some reason it finally did allow me to continue the upgrade. On my Toshiba P300 vista 64 bit laptop I noticed I have no Windows programs ie: Windows Defender; Windows update; etc. I just can't figure out how they disappear without administrator approval-something must be wiping it out? Thanks for responding. |
