    NfoRcE 680 Sli

    Hi guys,

    anyone done a upgrade to win 7 with this software raid on the 680i mobo? Does the raid die or is it fine? In other words if I have a raid 5 and a raid 1 created through the nvidia software raid, when upgrading does it fail and have to be recreated or not?

    It will be fine. All the RAID information is stored in the RAID controllers, so upgrading OS/reinstalling OSs won't affect any of the setups, and when you come to choosing which partition to install your OS on, you'll see all your RAID partitions.
