Have you downloaded the latest driver for Intel Proset? Please provide full specs of your system, and fill out my system specs.

Yes, it is the latest driver . system is ACER -Aspire4920G
Intel(R)Proset/ wireless wifi software 12.2.0.0

So are far as Internet access... can you use your browser? can you ping?
If you are at the command prompt and enter ipconfig /all, do you see a valid ip address?

Did you always have this problem? Was vista always installed?

Hi, could you please let me know the solution to resolve this error. I am getting this error from past a week, not sure whats the reason.

Folks.. any breakthroughs..solution... to this intel proset/wireless event log menace.
I had downloaded the patch and upgraded the wireless software from ver 10.0.0. to
12.4.3.0... but still windows reminds me that this problem exists.

Any breakthroughs please update...

P.S: I got this trouble after i had downloaded a McAfee browser plugin (McSACore.exe) for secure internet search.

This McAfee plugin made my browser freeze and gobbled up 1 gig of RAM. I had disabled this plugin in browser settings, but every time i need to stop McSACore.exe under services.msc.

I wonder if anyone was able to solve this problem. I have removed and re-installed the lastest version for Intel proset- 13.4.00 from Intel site, and am still getting the same message.
