Sanyo Cell Phone pm8200 64bit driver usb driver

Hello,

I hook up my cell phone to a usb cable and it acts as a modem and I can then access the internet. This has worked for me on 98 and XP. I just bought this new laptop computer which has Vista Home Premium 64bit and my drivers for the cell phone won't work. Tried installing a virtual machine (XP SP2) to get around it but I found that it wouldn't work either. The host (Vista system) must first recognize the USB device then the virtual machine can load regular xp drivers. So, I'm out of luck. Have spent about 10 hours trying to find something that works.

Anybody out there who can help with locating a vista 64bit driver for usb connection of a sanyo cell phone, specifically my model is pm8200. Any url to a place that has something that might work would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I found several references to snapmedia.com for drivers. Might want to give it a shot

Yea Ken,

I'm going to try to talk with the snapmedia people today. I am using their drivers for the phone but their site doesn't say anything about having a 64 bit version so I'll try to talk with them.
