thinkpad?

i had a problem n the solution from windows was this:

This problem was caused by Intel display driver, which was created by Intel Corporation and is distributed by Lenovo.

Solution

To solve the problem with Intel display driver, go to the Lenovo website for more information.

i went there n had to find the ThinkPad version to download the compatible one..

first What's a >ThinkPad< how do i know if i even have it? n how to find it's version?

Rotatable monitor screen. Not open and clsoe, but rotates on a central pivot.

IBM made the Thinkpad. Lenovo purchased IBMs pc division. So, Lenovo now makes the Thinkpad.

Go to this site:

Lenovo Support & downloads - Downloads and drivers

Where it says "enter product number", click on the help to find your number (it's on your notebook somewhere). Enter the number and you will know you model as well as drivers to install.
