If you have an RJ45 cable its not necessary to install any driver

If you have an RJ45 cable its not necessary to install any driver - pardon my ignorance do you mean a USB cable connected to my mobile phone. Well if it is,my phone cannot recognise any driver being present. When I go to phone and modems on my control panel, no modem is present. In fact I contacted Samsung wrt this and they are looking for drivers for Vista 64 bit os for the last two weeks with out any success. I hope I am being understood.

I'm having the same problem with my Samsung i450, also a Symbian phone. Have you managed to find drivers or maybe a workaround like installing it as some kind of generic modem?
