Enable CD Burning in Safe Mode

I've recently had a problem with Windows, and I can only boot in Safe Mode. Everything there works as it should. However, the drivers for my CD burner do not activate in safe mode.
In order to fix my problem, I need to create a recovery disk for vista, and I have the disk image (iso), and the software needed to do it. Only I can't, because of those pesky little drivers and their reluctance to run in safe mode.

I know it is possible in XP to solve this issue through regedit, I simply wondered if anyone knew how to load the necessary drivers for CD burning in Vista's safe mode.

Thanks in advance!
