problems downloading new drivers

I have tried to download the new drivers for my ATI Radeon HD 3450 and continue to get this dwnload error

C:\Users\Randy\Desktop\9-10_vista64_win7_64_dd(4).exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

any ideas on what to do?

You are trying to save it to your desktop and this is the fourth attempt. Why dont you try to save it somewhere else. If that doesnt help try downloadingagain

Let us know if that doesnt help

Possibly a permission issue.

Re: problems downloading new drivers

I cannot seem to download a driver for a netgear wireless router.
Everytime I try...I end up with an .img file that I can't do anything with.
I would think it would be an .exe file. Don't know what's going on.
Can anyone help??
the driver is for the wnr2000.
I can find tons of places to download from---but, no success in installing a driver that works!

Make sure you are downloading the correct driver for your OS. If I recall correctly, .img files were for a older version of Mac OS. It would mount like the .dmg files on mac today.

Re: problems downloading new drivers

an .img file would work for the router firmware, which is what he is doing. So he has to sign into the router to upgrade the firmware. an .img file is probably what the router wants. some use .bin
