Hello Popnfrresh,

Welcome to the Vista Forums.

You have already found out there is no official drivers for the Vista x64 for your computer model, however you might try one of these modded ones. I can't promise much, but it's better this then nothing. Please, pick one version of the Sigmatel modded driver from this site. Hope it helps.

Cheers...

It installs the microsoft high def audio driver. It used to work but now I cant switch over from my creative device (speakers) to this one (headset). For some reason it wont work now.

In the sound manager, right-click on headphones and select Set as Default Device, if you have such option.

For some reason it wouldnt switch and would stay on the creative. It would not switch the default to the on board and would only stay on the creative.

Did you reboot after installing the driver? Perhaps, you could test another driver version from the list.

There are official Realtek 64bit drivers on the Gateway site for the one model of the GT series, but don't think it will work on your model. Anyway, if you want to give this one a try, you can do it.
