after reboot printer missing

I have a Dell Laptop and am trying to install printer driver (wireless) ,but when I try I get a error message (windows cannot connect to printer. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer in connected to network.) I'm running vista 32bit. All my other wireless computers have no problem connecting to printer.

You need the computer connected to the printer to be turned on!

Thank you anyway but I'm a tech and I can't figure out why Vista will not save the printer. I 'v tried every thing I know. Also I run the Laptop wireless.
