    Igfxtray Exe Entry Point Error

    Hi,

    does anyone know how to repair an Igfxtray Exe Entry Point Error ? One article that I read recommends to use a reg cleaner, however, is there another way to fix this error?

    Can you list your system specs, as much information as you can, thanks.
    These registry programs will promise to fix everything from slow PC's to Global warming, most don't do very much of anything, if you do decide to go that route please back up your registry first. (just in case).
    Have you tried un-installing and updating your video drivers ?.
    Give it a go and post your results, thanks.

    Probably is going on only about empty orphan which adreessed to Igfxtray

    in HJT or OTL programs it looks like below:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IgfxTray] C:\Windows\system32\igfxtray.exe
    Just remove this entry

    Make sure the following registry (sub)key exists:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WinHelp
    Next add a DWORD value named AllowProgrammaticMacros to this subkey and set its value to 1.
