How to find out my bios version and update it?

type msinfo32 into the start/search field and hit Enter. There you`ll see what version and manufacturer you have. Then go to the website of that manufacturer and see whether they have any newer version. They usually provide the necessary tools for scanning and updating.
You can also check at the website of your PC manufacturer.

But why do you want to update the BIOS in the first place?
