Where can I find drivers for this? Supposedly Vista supports it but I can't find them.

I hate to trash a $500.00 printer...... Not happy!

I have Vista 64.

Thank you for any info.

No problem. Go to Canon Global and click on the link to your area on the world map. Put i9100 Photo Printer drivers into the search. Press enter key on your keyboard. It will take you to that printer's page. Click on ;Download Drivers'. Select OS. it will take you to a page for your x64 drivers.

Been there done that....... It's not a driver its a Add-on Module for Printer Driver (Windows Vista/Vista64)

So they have no driver..... I'm not getting it.

Did you try running the exe file as administrator ?

On some of the computers I deal with at work, running the printer driver exe just makes the driver available in a folder on the hard drive.

I have found that you have to select the 'have disk' during driver install and then browse over to the folder that has the driver and install from there.

Sometimes the driver shows up in the Select Printer to be installed window.

It just doesn't seem to be consistent.

Yeah I did that..... The zip installs but there is nothing in it. I sent Canon a e-mail telling them to fix it.

It unzips but doesn't show where or what. I think the zip file is messed up. It does the samething on my laptop.

I'll see tomorrow what they say.

Hmm. I have recently downloaded some bad drivers from hp. The self-extract was corrupted. so I let them know. Things like that happen.

Is there a place to download drivers from Microsoft for printers? They don't list the i9100 on the driver list in vista. I hit the windows update button and the i9100 is not listed under the canon drivers list.

Think I'm screwed ???

Try Canon's web site. I don't think Microsoft would have them.

My husband and I divorced over religious differences.. He thought he was God and I didn't.

I need i9100 not iP1900..... Thanks for the help though.

oops my bad sorry :( ..... I have a Canon Pixma MP800 myself, and I have to admit there driver support is lousy for Vista. I paid $350AUD for my multifunction. And I bought my husband an el cheapo Canon Pixma 210, for under $100AUD, and his printer has better support for Vista. Have you tried emailing Canon?
