Hello, i am 15 and more then good at computers for my age, i could always solve any problem our familys computer had untill one.
Basicly when i hooked up my xbox live again i rewired my router (linksys wrt110) and my box given by Insight (Aris ) everything was good untill suddenly i couldnt connect, i checked the router but my moms laptop ,my xbox live, and my ipod touch were all connecting and running on the internet with no problems on our network i narrowed it down to my desktop (intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz) Since it doesnt have a wireless card it connects via ethernet which is fine except for this time
I tried all the basic solutions (auto getting new ip, and having it reset my network adapter), but still it came back with the same issue, so i go to my adapter and diagnose it and it came back with "windows could not load ths driver blahblahblah, or code 31 if that makes it easier" SO i go to microsoft and search it THEIR solution is to update the driver.. so i said woohoo easy fix.. ha no. it said everything is up to date.(paradox?)
so i go into device manager and scroll through untill i see the famous.. Microsoft ISATAP Adapter #3. Right then i wanted to cry because of all the issues ive seen with this. So now here is where im at...
I leave my computer alone just playing xbox i get back on to check whatever and it says its connected by the two little screens and the globe but the two screens arnt flashing once ina while (ive learned to go by that also) so i test it and it comes LIMITED CONNECTIVITY which means no internet
SO now ive found a temp solution all i have to do is restart my computer and its fixed for a while but it eventually fails again and restarted your computer that many times that often cant be good for it.
So Vista people please help
