Composite audio driver issues when using Skype usb headset

Hello,

I bought a skype Everyman USB Headset and it was sent by Instore, both of them are shockingly horrendous for support, in fact i asked for a full refund and return delivery of product the product a week ago and I'm still awaiting feedback.

Basically when i plug it into my usb port, it plays for upto 30 seconds and begins to click, no other volume can be heard apart from this clicking noise, after a minute the headset disconnects altogether.

I have spent since start of January trying to mend this issue and have finally narrowed it down to a composite audio driver within vista called - Port_#0002.Hub_#0005

If i disable that driver, then the headset does not work at all which in one sense is great because it means i found the controlling audio driver for the headset.

I have Googled and Googled and cannot find an answer how to fix this.

Here is the community support request at Skype that i started, after being pushed off by Instore, i only provide this link for further information.

Everyman USB Headset - Skype Community

I have:
Vista Home Premium 32Bit SP2

I have tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling all audio driver,
Uninstall, disable old drivers and install a new standalone audio bus driver,
Tried using headset with XP laptop which worked fine with no issues at all
Smashing it against the wall repeatedly before using my head (kidding) lol

Any help or information from the great team here would be brilliant,

Thanks in advanced

Anyone? lol

I got my refund and i get to keep the headset however i would like the headset to work, they are actually not bad, tried them in my laptop but i don't need them for my laptop (windows 7).

I tried copying over most of the drivers and reg keys to my pc but that did nothing at all....

Im having issues with skype as well, i think skype has a problem with the realtek audio that comes with vista. You could try going to the realtek site and updating your drivers. i just fiddle with my audio levels, on my realktek menu. I sympathise with how frustrating it is, its hard to get satisfaction.Companys whether its skype or a hardware company, or an isp could care less about the customer.

im still having mic problems, by the way.
