Thank you, but I tried that - that's where I got the nvidia file.
It goes through the whole Nvidia song and dance (looks just like when I update my video card), except it doesn't prompt me to reboot... if I DO reboot, it just tells me my SM Bus Controller needs drivers. If I reboot and my good video card is plugged in (the one NOT attached to my motherboard), my screen turns black halfway through the reboot (I'm assuming it's because without the new SM Bus driver, it can't load the card? I don't know) - I know it's restarting though, because I can hear the Vista startup sound. If I unplug the cable of the good video card and let the crappy one that's attached to my motherboard do it's thing, it reboots without an issue... I CAN use my good video card, but ONLY if I reinstall the drivers and restart my PC WITHOUT the good one being plugged in... then I have to disable the crappy card, and THEN plug in the cable for the good card. Then and only then can I use the good video card (which works fine, aside from the SM Bus Controller issue).
Sorry if this sounds confusing as hell - it is!!
