Yesterday my computer went to a blue screen after I clicked Itunes. I do not believe this was the problem however I have no for sure clue to that though. After the bluescreen I tried to restart it and this came up after the motherboard manufaturer screen did and this was the error message :

File : \windows\system32\drivers\ndis.sys

Status : 0xc0000221

Info : windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt.

After this I tried to go and restart my computer again and the same thing has been happening since yesterday and continues today as well. I have tried booting it in all modes possible and it will go back to the same error message and not boot. I dont have important things on it and am willing to reformat the HDD if need be, but I would prefer a way to fix the problem vs reformat. This is because I do not have the original Installation disc because it was a prebuilt computer I do however have a recovery CD that I cannot boot from though. If possible I would love to fix this error without buying an Installation disc, if not I will not hesitate to reformat. Just want to know.

Thats the network card being badazz. If it's on-board maybe you could disable it in the bios and try to reboot safely or 'last working configuration' or something like that. I googled the problem and someone had it working like that.
