Driver for network failure

Hi all,
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-153 [PSLB1E-01S015EN] running Vista 32 bit [Service Pack 1]
When I boot the machine I get a pop up window indicating the system has found new hardware and asking to install the drivers for this hardware. I agree and let these drivers load automatically. I get a message saying the best driver software is already installed [but it still doesnt work].
The hardware is "Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" and
"Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter"
I have also tried downloading the latest drivers from The Realtek site and they have installed but again I still have the found new hardware window popup and the network will not work.
I have tried everything I can think of. I have run ccleaner to clean the rgistry and found no errors. I have run spybot search and destroy and found no errors. I have run Norton cleaner to uninstall or clean and old versions of norton which may have been on the machine and found no errors. I have run Malwarebytes and found no errors.
I have run chkdsk on my drive and found no errors. I have run sfc /scannow as administrator [which I am on my machine] and I have found errors. My issue with these errors is that they all point to:
