GeForce 9800 GX2 driver not working

Hello.
My GeForce 9800 GX2 works only with the "standart" driver, eg. the one which was in the box with the card. Whenever I try to update it, the screen goes black and I need to reboot my computer in safe mode and reinstall the standart driver. I install the correct drivers all the time (both from NVidia website and from Windows Update), and none work.
Please help, I'm tired of all those bugs, "X stopped working" and artifacts!

Use this un-installer to get rid of all the old drivers, and then install the new drivers.

Guru3D - Driver Sweeper (Setup) download from Guru3D.com

Boot in to safe mode, un-install the old drivers, reboot and install the new drivers.
