Hello, In checking the Reliability Monitor in Vista (32 Bit) I noticed on Feb. 13 the generic pnp monitor 6.0.6001.18000 driver was installed and since its installation the performance of the computer has steadily declined. I do not know if this is related but the only other system change which is listed 2nd under the Software Category is the installation of SUPERAntiSpyware Free Addition. Any input regarding this driver and whether it is related to this software is most welcome.

If that app has a 'real-time / resident scanner' then that is most likely the source of your slow down.

I uninstalled SUPERANTIspyware even though the free addition is not supposed to have an active scanner.

It appears the driver is associated with the USB Cruzer Micro: generic pnp monitor 6.0.6001.18000 driver associated with Device Mgr / Portable Devices / U3 Cruzer Micro / Driver File Details WUDFRd.sys or at least the version number matches. I have used this USB since my XP machine and I already removed the U3 software. The driver provider is indicated to be Microsoft.
