Vista can't find a Bluetooth driver

This is not a serious problem, but it is an annoyance and I would like to better understand why it happens. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running a Dell Inspiron 531 with Vista Ultimate. I recently had to reload Vista clean. I've got everything about back to normal. However, I keep getting a "Found New Hardware, Window needs to install driver software for you Bluetooth Peripheral Device" message every time I start up.

Here's the catch; my BT works fine. The BT icon shows in the system tray. My BT Logitech MX5000 keyboard and mouse work fine. My BT link to my Blackberry works fine. So, BT is working.

If I use the dialog box to locate the missing driver it cannot find it on my PC. When it goes on line it finds a Dell BT driver that will not load. I know the simplest thing is to just select; 'Don't show this message again for this device.' But, I'd like to understand why this happening.

BTW; I think this is related to my keyboard. The original disks are long gone.

The system is set up to continue to inform you until you actually install or indicate that you are not interested. I think the best way is to hide the update notice.
