Hi i have a dell inspiron 1525, it had an error and crashed. when
i start the computer normaly i get a blue screen with a stop code:
0x00000050 (0x863A83FC, 0x00000008, 0x863A83FC, 0x00000000).
when i try to boot in safe mode it stops at crcdisk.sys and procedes
to tell me internal hard disk drive not found. ive pulled the hdd out and
reseated it and reset bios but still no luck. when i try to reinstall winows
vista home premium 32 bit edition, When i click custom (advanced) install,
it says no drives were found to install onto. ive tried installing the
chipset drivers and or hdd driver from usb mass storage but it says no drivers
are on the usb device to be installed even though there is and yes
they are the correct manufacturer drivers.

Inspiron 1525 specs:
2.0GHz Core 2 Duo T7250 processor
2GB DDR2-667 SDRAM (up to 4GB DDR2 SDRAM available)
120GB 5400 RPM SATA HDD

Hello kylehunt698,
Have you tried resetting the CMOS ?, remove the CMOS battery for ten minutes, replace, and then see if your HDD is being detected.

Hope this helps, good luck and post your results.
