Bluetooth driver

Hi,

First of all I've got a 2008 ASUS Windows vista 32bit laptop and I am aware It has a bluetooth device (It is in the control panel and on the front of my laptop it has a bluetooth logo with a light bulb next to it). It never seems to be able to search for bluetooth devices it always says I need to plug my device in. I've heard on some websites I need to download a driver. I have been onto the ASUS website and have downloaded a driver (the link is: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-) I have installed it and it has told me it is complete. However I still cannot search for bluetooth devices. Does anyone know what I need to do???

Why I can't connect to my computer?

"I have a vista pc and it worked for me! I would just uninstall the LG PC Suite then reinstall it. If that does nothing remove the battery, then plug the usb cable in, sometimes doing this resets things and it will work"

No sorry, go to the link and they talk about resolving it. The top comment I saw on three different sites. Sometimes vista sees your bluetooth device as a USB or something like that

thanks for your help. I would still like to fix this bluetooth driver issue tho. does anyone els have any suggestions?

Basically I have a built in Bluetooth device on my Windows vista 32bit ASUS X50N and when I search for the device it says "No device found" does anyone know what I need to do to be able to get this working?
