I have a problem with my Seagate 500GB Barracuda 7200.11 SATA.

I have no clue how this problem happen. I just simply went to start, click shut down, waited for windows to shut down and it did normally. no problems , no error messages, nothing. the next day, I turn on the computer and it was asking for a boot device or something bootable. I do not know what happen.

Seagate is NOT helping me with my problem. I wrote to them through email and the tech or whoever was working on emails their gave me a superiorsmart response of linking me to the troubleshooting FAQ guides after I wrote I already answered and followed the steps of what was written on their website's FAQs. Their guide leads me too microsoft's website about taking out any USB pens during rebooting.

I had no choice but to buy a new hard drive.

my drive is not being recognized by the vista boot disc and it's not being shown in BIOS. The drive is still vibrating. The vista boot disc is asking for the drivers so I have done major research on what I need drivers for. I need drivers for the SATA on my motherboard I think.

I have a Biostar TP55 Ver. 6.x motherboard. I went to the website and searched for something that had drivers for the SATA on this board.

I downloaded the chipset and installed it.
I then downloaded "Intel Serial ATA AHCI/RAID Controller" for vista x86 (I'm guessing it's the SATA drivers that the boot disc is asking for), open the zip file and took out all the files in it and placed them in the root of my 4GB USB pen. I reformatted/clean the USB pen to FAT32 before placing these files.

the boot disc recognized my USB pen but it did not recognized any of the files in the pen. I did more research because I seen somewhere in the boot disc saying "Operating System: Unknown on (Unknown) Local disk".
So I found this link, did everything and nothing worked.

I have a new hard drive installed. My seagate hard drive is not being shown anywhere in the computer. I do not know what drivers I need. I found my Biostar Drivers CD and placed it in the recovery setup while looking for drivers in the vista boot disc. But the Biostar drivers disc does not have any drivers folder for the vista version. Only drivers for XP, 2000, 2003, etc.

I need help. I'm about to give up and toss this thing.
thanks for your time on this.
