installed chipset and network drivers at same time

hey vista forums,

when i was installing my motherboard drivers and network drivers, i installed the chipset drivers and network driver at the same time from the cd that came with my mobo.

it also had an option to install the drivers separately.

should i have installed the chipset driver separately from the network driver? or does it not matter?

yea when i installed them, it said installing or whatever from gigabyte, and then the computer rebooted automatically without any prompt or anything. but when i got back into windows it said installation finished! please reboot. so i just had to manually reboot again even though both the chipset driver and network driver were already installed after the first reboot.

so it doesnt matter if the chipset driver and network driver installed at the same time correct?

I think you just get the choice to do which you want..

I usually just load in the network drivers off the disk, so I can then get on the net and get the newest ones i can find... or off my storage drive in my mai system.

This is for systes i help fix, as with my main desktop i have them all sitting ready to go on my storage drive.
