I was doing a defrag on my netbook last night when I rested my hand on the area next to the touchpad and all of a sudden the screen just bursts into a massive colour frenzy and the whole things basically crashes. I turned the computer off and back on again and tried defragging again, everything went normally except the screen crashed again. I turned it off once more and this time I got an error saying fvevol.sys was either missing or corrupt. I tried booting in again using all safe modes and last known good configuration but the error keeps appearing. I can't use startup repair because my netbook doesn't have a disc drive and my external drive isn't here. I don't know what to do here so could someone please elaborate?
Thanks
