Installing the Latest BIOS and Device Drivers

hello Frnds,

can anyone suggest me how can i be sure that i have latest BIOS and Device Drivers in my system?

I have windows vista home premium 32 bit and hp pavillion laptop.

You should have your windows update set to give updated drivers. If you did not have it set. You can use this manual method. Use 7/08 as the cutoff. Older than than it may be outdated. Try to update it.

Hello

Click Start...
Click control panel...
Click system and maintenance...
Scroll down to Device manager and click update drivers...
When the box opens click View...
Click show hidden devices...
Now you have to click open each one, one at a time..
Double click one at a time...
When to box opens click drivers update...
Then just click and let it do it automaticly..

After you finish the above, as I have given, and it will take time
Go to search type cmd
In cmd type driverquery
If many drivers are older than 7/08, use the suggestion given by AmCritic.
but
Let windows update have a chance to update, if you just reset it. Wait about a week or so.

and how do i update BIOS?

Seems that you have an HP
You can probably find the bios updates here.
May I respectfully suggest that unless you are having problems, update only drivers. Leave the Bios alone.

You probably shouldnt update your bios unless things aren't working.

Prebuilt and laptops don't usual gain much from bios updates...
