Driver for Clickfree auto backup

Hello all. I am new to this forum...I recently purchased a Clickfree automatic backup for my laptop (I run Vista Home Premium). I plugged it in and I can't get past the pop=up stating the driver isnt found. I tried it on my sons laptop and it worked fine so I know the clicfree unit isn't defective. Where do I find the driver/why doesn't my laptop find it automatically like it's supposed to? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks Rich. I know I'm not supposed to need to install anything...Clickfree is an automatic backup - plug in and go - but my laptop says it's unable to locate the drivers and can't find them. I checked the clickfree website and it says they are compatible with Vista but the Vista site you referenced doesn't specifically show Clickfree as 'compatible'. I talked with tech support at Clickfree and they seem to think this should work. I'm not sure what to do

I truly understand your problem. The website that I referred you to is the source used to determine the compatiblity of software. If it is not specifically, approved, I have to doubt its compatiblity. That is all that I can say. You have to understand that the volunteers, at this site, cannot be familiar with every software that can potentially be tried with Vista. May I suggest, however, that you check back from time to time, there may be another member who has used the software in question and can be of more assistance.

I can tell you this. I had Vista and now use Seven. Seven is truly awesome. I give it a thumbs up.
