Finding the "Enhanced" USB connection

Hi,
I am going to connect an ION VIDEO 2 PC MKII to a Dell Inspiron 530S to convert VHS tapes to digital files. I have been told to use the "Enhanced" Connection.
Device Manager Universal Serial Bus controllers shows two Enhanced controllers:
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced Host Controller -293A
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced Host Controller -293C
The back panel connections has four USB 2.0 connections.
How do I tell which one is the Enhanced connection?
Thanks
Frank C

Welcome Frank C
Whew, this is a tough one, i have been looking at my pc manual, looking in my device manager, looking at my usb ports, and finally resorted to googling. I found this, but, not sure if it tells you what you need to know, cept to say, you should be fine plugging the device in to any, worst case is it will not work well, in which case, try another one. USB 2.0, Hi-Speed USB FAQ

I get the impression from the page above that if you plug in a USB 2.0 device, it will go to the "enhanced" controller and that's that. At least that's how it seems. Maybe a hard core hardware guy can chime in. :)

Thanks to all for the feedback.
Here is the complete list of USBs from Device manager:
Universal Serial Bus controllers
CA-200
Generic USB Hub
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2934
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2935
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2936
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2937
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2938
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2939
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 293A
Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 293C
USB Composite Device
USB Mass Storage Device
USB Root Hub (there are eight of these)

The manual back panel picture shows four USB ports all identical. The legend with the illustration only says:
(Item) "10. USB 2.0 connectors (4)."
(description) "Use the back USB connectors for devices that typically remain connected, such as printers and keyboards.
It is recommended that you use the front USB connectors for devices that you connect occasionally, such as joysticks
or cameras."
It does not make any distinction of enhanced vs. non-enhanced. Thus I was confused by the distinction in the Controller list.
On advice received here, I will treat them all alike and if I do get degraded performance from the Video 2 PC I will try another connection.

Glad this got sorted out for you.
