Okay. so here is my dilemma. My brother gave me some PC parts because he upgraded his gaming machine. and he built me a desktop PC out of an old tower and parts we both had. I am running an ASUS M3N78-VM Motherboard. I do not have my network adapter drivers
installed and cannot get online with it. Luckily I have a laptop which I can come on here with.
I have tried multiple different driver
installers. but they all require an online scan to find my drivers, I found one from dell that had the same driver but it said "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enavled Please Plug the Cable."
Mind you. this computer was built less than an hour ago and I do not have the motherboard CD.
Can somebody please help me? while I was online I found a page that said the on board network driver was " Lan: Realtek RTL8211CL." because a person was having the same problem but they had their Motherboard CD because theirs was new.
your help would be greatly appreciated,
