System info in my specs. My Sb Audigy 2Zs turns the volume almost all the way down to barely audible when I adjust the treble or bass sliders. windows indicates that the volume is at 100% it is kinda pissin me off as I have had this sound card for some time and never have had any issue until I used vista. I do have the most recent drivers from creative labs website and I have also used the driver from Microsoft update and both do the same thing. I can use the audio control center and restore *Driver defaults and readjust the volume but no go for bass and treble.

I could care less for the VIA hd audio my 870-G45 has. On par to the sb It sounds dry and relatively lacks quality. But thank you. I have been to the creative website. Matter of fact that exact address. Problem is Creative no longer makes decent drivers and or Microsoft is not playing well. I was thinking maybe a 3rd party driver.. something like asio 4 all:geek: <which is no good on vista in my opinion>

Something that will make the controls and other features work properly besides eax <could care less for that nor do i like alchemy:D>

Perhaps so. I just can't stand the built in audio. I also notice things sometimes craw with it so that is why I prefer the audigy... Thanks everyone.

*Ive also herd of people complaining that the new XFi sound cards have most if not all the same issues as the audigy? <.< never the less I suppose it is time to move on. Maybe something from M Audio*
