Hi there,
I had an issue with my computer when unplugging a USB card reader while booting and now the drivers are messed up and it will not load.
I tried searching on the forum, the closest thing I got was someone with the same problem but with video card driver not working, so the solution provided will not work for me. I do not know which drivers have messed up, or if there are other problems beyond that.
I cannot go into safe mode, no system recovery or restore points available. I have a vista boot cd so I can go into command prompt or load from cd / usb after BIOS startup
I have no idea how to isntall .inf files from command prompt, or what is the right way to go about it. I have downloaded all the drivers I need from Gateway's website onto a usb key so that I can use them. Don't know how to make that happen.
If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated!!!!
