| | The driver I am using is the 100.65 which is not a beta driver. It is WHQL certified. The 101.41 is the beta driver at the moment. 100.65 does not support SLI on my chip, so I do not believe that is an issue. The 101.41 driver does support SLI, but when install that games have very poor performance. Last edited by bataylor1314; 03-29-2007 at 07:40 PM.. |

| Vista Ultimate 32bit | Re: Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered - nvlddmkm nVidia Driver I found out a pretty easy way to fix this issue. I used a bunch of screenshots to make it easy for even non computer savvy gamers. Salsatech » Fix Vista’s “nvlddmkm Stopped Responding” Issue |

| Vista Ultimate 64 bit | Re: Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered - nvlddmkm nVidia Driver well i would of tried the way to fix it in the post before me but if you click on the link it dose says "Unfortunately, this fix is temporary…the problem will likely come back and you will have to do it again." i don't fell like i should have to do something ever time the error occurs ... i just don't understand why it just started happening..... i have had the grafix card for while and there is no reason why it would do this but i guess if this is the only fix i can find i guess it will have to do tell if pin point the real problem.... once again if anyone know how to really fix it or know why it dose this please let me know |

As a result the new drivers are attempting to access an older file instead of the latest. Fix: Go to windows/system32/drivers and rename nvlddmkm.sys to nvlddmkm.sys.old. Go to the nvidia directory and find the file nvlddmkm.sy_ for your current drivers and copy it to windows/system32. Using the cmd window (DOS box) type EXPAND.EXE nvlddmkm.sy_ nvlddmkm.sys. When the expansion is complete, copy the new nvlddmkm.sys to windows/system32/drivers and restart the computer. Your computer should now work properly. |
