Intel RAID 82801ER

I see this has been asked many times before...but has anyone gotten Vista * to complete a fresh install onto a RAID configuration (1|0)???

I have tried the Intel 5.5.x and the 6.x drivers...nothing is listed as compatible. I see Intel has no intention of supporting Vista, and the Vendor (HP it is an xw6200) has also ceased support at XP.

Any one have any luck at all??? I hate being on the edge of discontinued support!

Yes I was able to perform a fresh/clean install of Vista onto an RAID1 array. My motherboard had the ICH5R chipset.

Although the blog post later reports errors, I ran for two weeks using this setup without issues. (I then bought a new computer and reformatted my old computer).

Unfortunately I have come across that blog already. I tried the f6 floppy driver like was specified, and Vista was still not reporting my hardware as supported.

Also, I am using the Intel E7525 chipset. It is an HP xw620. Its spec sheet is located here.

I am definitely disgruntled. Any other ideas would be wonderful. Thank you very much!!!
