D-link WDA 2320 wireless adapter
Does anyone know where I could get some x64 drivers for my D-link WDA 2320 wireless adapter?
Hi Dark X,
I checked out D-link's website. They have a beta driver for Vista, but they do not say whether it is for x32 or x64 Vista. I must assume it is probably for x32. You can try and see. Did Vista assign a generic driver for it that worked at setup?
http://www.dlink.com/products/support.asp?pid=471&sec=0#drivers
I could not find any reference for x64 drivers anywhere on the net for it. It may only be compatible with x32 Vista for now.
Hope the link's driver works for you,
Shawn

I have not installed vista x64 but I am getting ready to. I guess i could try to install the drivers in compatibility mode. Thanks.
edit: i just found out that there isn't an executable file in that zip. I guess i should use that "disable unsigned drivers" thing.

Dark X,
I do not think that the "Disable unsigned drivers" will help you for this. That is usually for a driver that would still be x64, but just was not signed (certified).
If x64 Vista assigns a generic driver for it, you might want to stick with it.

well I just got an email from d-link saying that there are no vista x64 drivers right now for it.
Well, that sucks. You might wait and stick with x32 Vista until (IF) there is one, unless you want to get a new adapter.
Sorry,
Shawn

I guess I could run a wire upstairs to my computer. I wonder if my network card has x64 drivers.
It might. What is it's make and model?

Good News!
I just install windows ultimate x64 and I got those beta drivers working. I had disable that driver check when I booted up. It works perfectly.
Thanks for the help!
edit: Even better! Windows Update just installed a x64 driver for it. I guess the person that emailed me didn't know.
