HI all,

I was until recently using the XP64 driver by disabling signed drivers. This has been workign for months but since the latest wave of updates from windows-update the drivers stopped working. I tried reinstalling but to no avail.

I got on this forum and was looking for a solution since i LIVE off this thing for WOW (Really ui cant play without it anymore) but there was nothing new. In panic I started googling for a solution and found the thing I would not have thought would happen has happened..

http://www.belkin.com/uk/support/article/?lid=enu&pid=F8GFPC100&aid=7884&scid=293

Drivers for Vista from belkin themselves, released today.

I havent had a chance to test since I'm at work so please follow up with results if you do.

Thanks all.

Good news indeed since Belkin had replied to my inquiry last month saying there would not be any Vista support (32 or 64-bit) for the Nostromo 52...

I was already awaiting the arrival of the Cyborg Command Unit (November) for which Saitek has confirmed Vista compatibility... Just in time for UT3..

Vladsky, a.k.a. :TsT:Relaxo.. our next practice of UT2004 is Friday night, so I'll let you know how well they perform.

VERIFIED. I installed it and it installs without a problem and works flawlessly on Vista x64 Ultimate.

PS:

When I switched to Vista I originally bought a saitek pro gamer commander. (The father of that cyborg) and hated it. i was willing to go back to keyboard rather than go back to that hand cramper when the n52 stopped working again. BTW the new & old one have the same layout so it would cramp me up too im sure.

Some things ain't fair...

It's just when, after installing these beta drivers (they install fine), that I remembered that after getting the reply from Belkin Support On August 1st,... I threw out my Nostromos... my son's and mine.

Oh schnitzki,

Vladsky

P.S.: I phoned Belkin Support again this morning, they had the patience to hear me out... now I'm waiting to know if they will do more than that! But I must say that Belkin support is excellent, when I originally bought the Nostromo, they had this batch of N52's with "sticky keys" syndrome and they had RMA'd the product very quickly.

So, rgongora, I went out and bought myself another N52, but somehow, the software installs itself, but not the device drivers... So, How did you do it? Step by step...

I did it the basic way, uninstalled the old, reboot, installed the new. it worked without a hitch. I didnt have to do anything special to get it working but i did notice it copies profiled to a folder in my documents now so you maye have to move them, i had to.

That might be real good for you, but it's not helping me at all... that device driver will not install...

Pay-dirt!!! the fourth install cycle (install-get frustrated-uninstall) was the lucky one... go figure!!

It feel so good to play with this again, my profiles load just perfectly... just in time for the Friday night's i-CTF practice!!

Hi guys,

Just upgraded to Vista 64 and after installing my Nostromo N50 speedpad, seems to install fine but no input from the pad when on the key mapping screen and therefor can't select a profile on the loadout manager?

Could this be a driver issue? I installed the vista 64 beta drivers as posted on this thread...

Any help appreciated, cheers.
