| Vista 64 Ultimate | Help finding USB Wireless N adapter supported in Vista x64 I have a wireless N router from Linksys and want to connect my main desktop using a wireless N usb adapter. I can't seem to find anyone who supports x64! I don't want to buy something only to find out Vista x64 can't use it. So does anyone know of one that works? |

| XP, Linux x64, Vista x64 | Re: Help finding USB Wireless N adapter supported in Vista x64 Well, this Linksys WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Adapter review - IT Reviews supports vista, and scanning the drivers section on linksys website shows it has 32 bit drivers but it doesn't mention x64. You could try generic drivers for 32bit, they may work on x64. If they dont work you could always go for a refund :/ |

| Vista 64 Ultimate | Re: Help finding USB Wireless N adapter supported in Vista x64 I'm seeing a lot of scary threads on other sites including linksys for that adapter though. I'll pick it up from Best Buy and try it for a few days. The other thing I don't like is the driver is dated January of 2007. No updates in 9 months looks like they consider the product end of life. Threads are listing things like audio/video skipping when it pings the router once per minute. |
