Vista - Settlers VI

Arrived today, installed with no problems, patched with no problems and runs great

On max settings it even makes my system jump a little when moving around the map!

Arrived today, installed with no problems, patched with no problems, but it doesn't play. As soon as I press Single Player, or Options > Video, I get an error and after pressing OK, I am back to dekstop.

System Config:
Gigabyte P45-DS4
Intel C2D 6600
4x1Gb Crucial Ballistix 1066
ATI X2900XT, Catalyst 7.10
Windows Vista Ultimate x64 will latest updates

May be you have problems with your VISTA or drivers...may be DX? Because, this kind of problem usually hapens because of software but not hardware.

Vista runs perfectly stable (24 hours of Orthos/Prime/MemTest).
No other programs/games have any problems.
PC was formated on Friday afternoon.

I believe that it doesn't run correct with ATI 7.10

May be...but I think 90% that it's problem with software. If not Vista then may be video drivers or any other staff....don't know what to suggest for you.

I do believe the same, that's why I am posting, to see if any other user with ATI 7.10 has any problems

Im on Nvidia so can't help you there. Id expect it is the ATi drivers causing you the probs though

I have the same problem with this game. But i have nvidia 8800gtx and the latest drivers.
