| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Why Can't I Install X2:The Treat???? I Try To Install X2:The Threat and I Get Up Where It Starts Installing and It Runs For About 1 Sec and Then Cancels Saying Could Not Be Completed My System Meets All The Requirements As I'm Running: Vista Home 4GB Dual RAM 2 x 2.4 Processors 756MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX Can Any One Help Me???? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Why Can't I Install X2:The Treat???? Try running the install as Administrator. You may need to right-click the Setup.exe (I'm hoping it's a Setup.exe, it could be installer.exe or something else) and go to Properties. At the bottom of the first tab *should be* (according to my memory) a checkbox for "Run as Administrator". I had this issue with World of Wacraft. The install would go through copying all the necessary files but fail because WoW couldn't slap a couple of shortcuts on my desktop (it was definitely a funny moment for me.) |
