cube 3d configuration not working

My nascar sims racing game come up with 3d cube configuration not working..The game goes up to windows xp. Is there any solution to this problem.

try running the game in xp compatible mode

Thanks for the reply but I tried the xp compatabile and it doesn't work. Help I miss playing NASCAR.

Well thats why I joined this forum today...Vista has has a problem with 3D Cube Config. to play nascar...I got Race 07 GTR and it plays...Nascar 07 does not. Ive been looking on the net for a solution, and what ive found so far is you have to be a rocket scientist on PCs to fix. Ive read where you download 2004 thunder nascar demo to get the 3D cube..and it will work..How , I dont know yet..Ill probably try it..Im about ready to go back to XP..

Well the problem is in the two .dll files that 3D Cube needs,I forgot the names, But it doesn't really matter, I downloaded the newest version of these two files and it still wouldn't work. The new error was that 3D Cube couldn't locate blah blah blah. I wish as i was more help but that all i have found out. but it didnt fix the problem as one of them .dll files was not able to work with 3dCube. IF your able to open the .dll file and that the blah blah blah to that file then it should work. .


My only hope which is really small that This bug will be fixed with SP1. Thats my only hope in being able to run this game.

Well with SP1 out now anyone willing to test and see if the game will work now?

I hope so but Highly doubt it and we have to wait till EA fixes the game which will never happen so im left to hope that it does,Not really even wanting to try it.

just joined to tell you that it dosn't work with SP1... I just tried installing it and i came here to see if there was a fix, lol guess not...

well thanks for trying TopShot. I think its time for all of us to E-mail EA and let them know that we are having trouble with this program working with vista and see if they can try and get a update out for this game.

I suggest you all log the issue with EAGames, when I reported it theyre response was surprise...
