Everquest difficulties

All,

I've tried searching numerous forums, including this one, and haven't found anything in regards to the problem I'm having. I've installed everquest from a download from sony and also from my cd's (it took a while) and I am continuously getting the following error - the exception unknown software exception occurred in the application at location - and it provides some memory locations. I have unistalled, re-installed. I installed in a regular folder not program files x86. I am running as admin, I tried a couple compatibilities. If anyone is running EQ I can you please let me know what you have done to get it to work?

I've got a quad core intel, 680i MB, 64 bit vista ultimate, 2 7800gt oc (from my old pc when hd crashed), 150gb raptor drive. That is pretty much it. If you know of configurations or why I'm continually getting this memory error it would be very helpful.

Thank you!

Re: Everquest difficulties

Please disregard, today I was able to login. The only thing I can think of that did the trick was changing compatibility from Process Properties in the task manager, as well as checking run as admin. I would have edited the original message but did not see the option.
