Vista - MS Flight Simulator 2004/X on Vista 64-bit

Hello,
I have Vista Ultimate 64-bit,
and I tried to run FS on my system, but,
as I tried playing, I enountered lots of bugs during game play,
for example the screen gets black when I try to switch from cockpit view to external view, etc.
The game was utterly unplayable and my FPS was very low.

It's a bit strange because I run the FS on QUAD, with 4GB RAM, 8800GT.

Please help me !

I am running both FSX and FS 2004 on my box, no problems on either I have Home Premium 64bit

Have you updated your video drivers?

Have you gone into your settings and decreased some of the graphics settings? Start at the default settings and gradually increse them.

You can also increase your frame rate in your graphics setting, the recommended framerate is 20-30,

Try re-install if all else fails
