Is there a way to disable the Alt-Tab feature when running full screen games? I use alt and tab to perform functions in game and tab out when i cross them. I know there was a way in XP. Please help!

Thanks,
Ghrack

I dont think there is a way unless you find a keyboard re-mapper program for Vista, if one even exists.
What games do you play that you use Alt and Tab and how do you cross them? I think it would be awkward to use the Alt button in the first place.

World of Warcraft. I manage to Tab out at least once a day during arenas, always seems to come at an inopportune time too. :-(

Hello Ghrack, I used to have the same exact problem in World of Warcraft (I'm using lAlt key to talk on ventrilo) and tab to target in arena and sometimes end up alt-tabing costing me the game. Anyway, I found this program called AutoHotKey with the following script:

Code:
#ifWinActive World of Warcraft
*!Tab::return
What it does is block the alt-tab shortcut but still allow use to use the alt and tab key.
So basicly just install AutoHotKey go to File -> Edit Script and past this somewhere/replace it by the default stuff and you should be good to go. If you happen to want this for other windows, just rename World of Warcraft. Hope it helps!

Btw, what server do you play on? Warsong, Ruin (US) here.

Icecrown.
Im going to avoid installing any software. I know in XP you could set a program right that would disable hotkeys......i just dont know what they did with it.

There's a downloadable zip version that doesn't require any installation but just a very light exe in the background (3.196k).
