PS2 Controller Adapter

Hello All.

I used to use my SUPER BOX4 (Ps2 controller to PC adapter) for when I had XP and it worked like a charm.

Now with installing Vista Ultimate X64 it doesn’t recognize it.

Is there a compatible driver for it (which I doubt) or is there an alternative adapter?

Appreciate any Help.

I recently bought this PS2 controller to USB adapter a few days ago:
DealExtreme: $6.71 PS2 Game Controller to PC USB Converter

The one I received came in black, it has ports for 2 PS2 controllers, and it was immediately recognized by Vista as 2 separate twin usb joysticks (1 for each controller). So far, it has worked like a charm and I haven't had to install the drivers from the little cd it came with. Best part of all is that it was really cheap.

Can you tell me the exact name of the adapter? to see if i can get it from a uk shop or site.

The actual name? "USB PSII 2 Player Converter" lol. It's a pretty generic product. That website I had provided has free shipping on everything though, so that $6.71 price is just $6.71 final. And it usually takes about a week to 10 days to arrive. I've ordered multiple things from them, and I've never had a problem with anything.

The rumble works fine. It will show up as force feedback on 2 axes. They could be enabled with games that support force feedback. As of now, the adapter has worked like a charm, as if i was too good to be true because of the cheap price.

It looks like the same one, and since it's a pretty generic product, I would guess that it is.

Hello eddified, yes works a charm with the game GT Legends the game i wanted it for.
But - tried it with the game GRID and it doesn’t work even after a update that said it would fix this problem. To be honest the game GT Legends is a bought game GRID was a downloaded game might have something to do with it.
