| Windows 7 RC | Re: Call of Duty 1 Shawn is our resident expert on Vista. However, I did find some compatibility postings on other forums about this game and Vista. Perhaps if you tell us a little bit more about the hardware you'll be using, I'll find out if you are affected by any of these side issues. Nvidia (I use one too), was one of the video cards mentioned. I'll help you if I can. |

| Vista Home Premium | Re: Call of Duty 1 I might try COD4, it seems pretty cool. I just really like the original. Plus, 1 is like $20 and 4 is like $50. So i was kind of worried I'd buy 4 and not be able to play it, so thanks. I don't really know what kind of hardware you mean, like graphics and stuff? I'm not so great with computers. |

First off, you willhave NO problems with COD4, I kill electrons with it everyday. If you are looking at COD, then look for the the "good' version. LOL The "good version" has COD, the expansion pack, United offensive, AND COD2 all for like 19.99 or maybe 29.99. I installed COD2 the other day (did COD4 as soon as I built this computer) and have not had a single problem with it. I was thinking of installing my COD and United offensive but have just been lazy. Just for YOU lol I'll install it now and see if I have any problems. Check back in a few hours............. Edit: Ok, loaded COD (the first one) and the 1.5 patch smooth as buttermilk and played the intro. No probs. I say go for it dude. REMEMBER, get the version with COD, United Offensive, and COD2.
