Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Major Graphical Corruption

I installed the game earlier and then got a dll error when I tried to start the game so I did a quick search of the net and found a fix (install latest DirectX 9, it runs alongside DirectX 9) The game then started, in the main menu I noticed some white flickering and when I started the actual game there was just major graphical corruption everywhere, it was unplayable. I am using the 174 nvidia drivers, here are my specs:-

Xfx 780i
4 x 1gb Geil Ultra ddr2 ram
Q6600 @ 3.2
2 x BFG 8800GT512mb OC in Sli
2 x 320gb WD AAKS in Raid 0
Creative Xfi Extreme Gamer soundcard

I just can't figure it out. Has anybody else got this game running fine on Vista Ultimate 64?. Thank You

I'm having the same problem, I installed the game and also the new patch, when the game starts the graphics are all messed up! Even looking at the kit layout before the game starts, parts of the background are flickering black!!!

I'm running an 8800GTS 512 card with the recommended drivers, on Vista 64 bit premium and can't work out why it doesn't work! COD4, Crysis, FFOW, BF2, BF2142 all work perfectly on full settings without changing anything.

Any ideas?

Have you tried playing without the patch?, I think that is what I'm going to do later

Problem Solved, Turn off Anti-Alliasing in the game settings menu (Extra's) and set it in Nvidia control panel

lol I just came back to tell you I have fixed it :)

Found this on another forum after a LOT of searching :)

"You need to go to your desktop, then press the right mouse button. Then choose nvidea configuration screen, then go to advanced settings if you haven't already choose this before once, then go to the upper left corner to 3d settings. then choose anti aliasing and select application controlled or smth like that. then you should be able to view all the textures properly"

Glad you got it working as well ;)

I wanted to let y'all know I had the same problem. I followed the advice here but it still didn't work 100%. So I went into the game options and selected NONE for the Anti-allising option in extras. Worked like a charm!!!
