I have a vbulletin 3.6x forum using IBproarcade module with 200+ games. They all work fine, but during play it gets choppy. I'm trying to figure out why its choppy on any game (many games, several different developers). Any ideas to trace this or enhance the performance? This is a personal server with a few domains on the box and not an enormous amount of traffic in general, nor at once. I even reinstalled Flash plugin as well.
Server Hardware Centos 4x / Cpanel [Zend Modules] Zend Extension Manager Zend Optimizer Dual Xeon 2.8GHz HT 4GB Memory 7200k SCSI Disk (barely 20% full) 100Mbit uplink My Computer Specs Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz 4GB Memory 7200k Drive Vista 64Bit Ultimate w/ SP1 N Wireless Internet (full bars always) / Intel 4965AGN (latest drivers) Nvidia 8400M GT 256MB Dedicated / 1GB shared 1280x800 resolution / 32bit Problem has been duplicated with: - firefox 2 - firefox 3 beta 5 - opera 9 - IE7 / IE8 beta |

Is it choppy on just your box? If so adjust the amount of data that can be stored on your system by the flash player app. Right click on the flash player, select settings and click on the folder tab. I believe it defaults to 10kb. Boost it a little and see what happens.

I had already upped it to 100kb and it showed only 2kb use too, during game play.
I upped it to unlimited. Same problem. |

Maybe I'm missing something here, but what does the java plugin have to do with the flash game play? I do have javascript enabled and the latest java as of today.

There used to be an Action script calling Java script bug. Just covering all the bases. Has this always been a problem with your machine with earlier versions of Flash?
