Cursor won't go to screen edge

I'm having major mouse/cursor issues, the cursor is fine until i load any game (World of Warcraft or Lord of the rings online), once loaded, the mouse/cursor will not go towards the right or the bottom of the screen, it looks to be a resolution difference, but i have no clue what i am doing. has anyone had such a problem?
